These General Terms and Conditions of Contract govern the relationship between the user (hereinafter, the Beneficiary) and the company Asteroid LLC (hereinafter, “ASTEROID ASSISTANCE”), provider of travel assistance services. Asteroid Assistance is not an insurance company, but a provider of assistance services designed to provide support for unexpected events during travel.

2. Purpose of the contract
The purpose of this contract is to regulate the terms and conditions under which Asteroid Assistance will provide travel assistance services to the traveler. The services offered, along with their limits and conditions, are specified in the electronic documentation sent to the Beneficiary after the purchase.

3. Nature of the service
The services offered by Asteroid Assistance do not constitute medical or travel insurance. They are immediate assistance services provided through a network of professional providers.

4. Contracting process and payment methods
The user selects the desired assistance plan on the web platform. Payment is made online via PayPal or by credit/debit card. Once payment is approved, the Beneficiary will receive the assistance certificate, plan details, and terms and conditions by email.

5. Entry into force and duration
Assistance becomes effective once payment is confirmed and from the date indicated as the trip start date, provided that it falls within the contracted coverage period.

6. Right of withdrawal and cancellations
The Beneficiary may cancel the plan before the travel start date. Once the coverage period has started, cancellations will not be accepted except as defined in the refund policy.

7. Obligations of the beneficiary
It is the Beneficiary’s responsibility to provide accurate and truthful information during the purchase process and to follow the instructions of the assistance team in case support is required during the trip.

8. Intellectual property and website use
All website content, including texts, graphics, logos, designs, and software, is the property of Asteroid Assistance. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

9. Personal data protection
Data provided by the Beneficiary will be processed in accordance with Asteroid Assistance’s Privacy Policy, available on the website. By contracting the service, the Beneficiary accepts the processing of their data for operational and contractual purposes.

10. Applicable law
These conditions are governed by the legislation of the country where Asteroid Assistance is incorporated. In the event of any dispute, the parties shall submit to the competent courts of the company’s registered office.
